It Feels immense pleasure and happiness to inform you all that Guru Purnima (An auspicious day to perform Guru Seva), also known as Vyasa Purnima, is the one of the most celebrated festival in Ganagapur Dattatreya Nirgun Mutt, Deval Ganagapur, It falls on full moon day in Aashaadha month (July) is being celebrated on 10th July 2025.
“Guru Pournima गुरु पूर्णिमा“ This is the most auspicious day to worship one’s Guru and Guru Parampara , and all the pilgrims visit Ganagapur Temple with full enthusiasm and in a great manner to seek blessings from Guru Dattatreya. As Gurus grace is the only thing in world which can turn into any impossible to possible and miracles also do happen in this Kaliyug.
The presence of Shri Narasimha Saraswati in Ganagapur in the form of Nirgun Paduka feels very important and powerful temple to visit as well. Paduka Puja is the main ritual of Guru Purnima day in Ganagapur Nirgun Mutt. Lord Dattatreya and his holy avatars – Sripada Sri Vallabh, Sri Nrusimha Saraswati Swami are worshipped with Vedic special pujas. It is also celebrated as a special festival in Amaraja Sangam temple where Narasimha Saraswati swami observed penance for several years.
On this special day i.e. 10th July 2025 various religious holy activities like Rudrabhishek, Annadan, Bhiksha, Nandadeep Seva, Gurucharitra Parayan, Datta Yagna, and other sevas will be performed in the temple for the welfare of the family and as well as to seek blessing of Guru for the upcoming days. On the same day we do the Vishesh Nirgun Paduka Pooja and Guru (Vyasa) pooja from Ganagapur Nirgun math samsthan.
- “Dhanvantari Homa” (specific to health related Homa) to give all mankind a good health and good immunity power.
- “Lakshmi Havan” (Shree Sukta Yaag) For blessings of Shree Lakshmi get relief from financial problems.
- “Datta Yaaga” ( Datta Gayatri and Datta Mala Mantra homa) ” as every year we do on this holy day for Guru Dattatreya’s blessings on all his devotees and mankind.
The reason behind doing the above 3 Homa’s are if we get good health, Lakshmis blessings for good finance and Gurus blessings on us we never feel down at any point of life and getting enormous success in all of our life.
