We feel happy to inform you all that Datta Jayanti(Birthday) of Guru Dattatreya is being celebrated on 4th December 2025. Cradle ceremony and Chariot Festival (Rathotsava) in the temple on 5th December 2025 and on 22nd December 2025 Birthday of 2nd Incarnation of God Dattatreya i.e. Shri Nrusimha Saraswathy Maharaj (the one who is presently staying in Ganagapur in the form of Nirgun Paduka) will also be celebrated in temple this year in Ganagapur Temple Nirgun Math with full enthusiasm and in a great festive manner.
On both Jayanthi’s i.e. 4th December and 22nd December at 12.00 PM cradle ceremony will be carried out in temple with Bala Datta vigraha in the cradle by singing the holy song “Bala Jo Jo Re Sukumara Dattatreya avataara” and on Full moon day Chariot Festival will be carried out just in front of Main Datta temple at 5PM.
During these days i.e. 4th Dec. 2025 auspicious week and till 22nd Dec. 2025 various religious holy activities like Rudrabhishek, Annadan, Bhiksha, Nandadeep Seva, Gurucharitra Parayan Saptaha Seva, Datta Yagna, and other sevas will be performed in Ganagapur and people believe doing on this occasion can get blessings of Guru as well as Datta Jayanti comes once in a year and also to pray for the up coming good and prosperous new year.
We have planned to do the 3 Homa’s as below on Datta Jayanti Day as we did the same for last year as well –
1. Datta Yaag (To seek Guru’s blessings in his birthday)
2. Dhanvantari Yaag-Perform this havan to seek good health/immunity for yourself & your family members.
3. Lakshmi Havan -Perform this havan to overcome your finance related problems.
